Cleanroom Poly Tubing - 6 Mil
A proprietary blend of low density polyethylene provides the ultimate protective film for items susceptible to contamination or damage from surface or airborne particulate. The base film is made of 100% virgin, barefoot resin free of slip or anti-block additives typically found in industrial grades of polyethylene. These additives, if present, can “bloom” to the surface of the film leaving unwanted non-volatile residue that can cause scratching or marring on soft surfaces.
The material is extruded in a Level 100 cleanroom environment, and is blown with pure, nitrogen purged air.
The resin blend produces a polyethylene product that does not promote corrosion, and has no measurable outgassing.
- Film is processed to meet or exceed cleanliness standards for use in an ISO 14644-1 Class 5 (formerly FED-STD 209E) cleanroom.
- Finished product is certified to meet or exceed the requirements of IEST-STD 1246D Level 100 (formerly MIL STD 1246C, Table I).
- This material is 21CFR and FDA approved.
